AuroShell™ particles have numerous potential applications across
many industry domains including cancer therapy and imaging, drug delivery,
microfluidics and diagnostic applications. To address this range of
applications, Nanospectra has the ability and expertise to design
and manufacture particles with targeted optical properties, even well
into the infrared, using a variety of core and metallic shell materials.

We are developing a platform for Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) to detect biomolecules and biothreats using AuroShell™ particles. While the optimum structure is a solid support, our particles may also be used in solutions for SERS, with significant advantages over other SERS materials.
